On Friday 11th September I will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for the Christie hospital! You may ask why? Well, I am going to hit the big '40' in December and decided it was time to set myself a challenge and try and raise some money for a Charity. Those close to me already know that sadly my Dad's prostate cancer has spread to other parts of his body, but the Christie Hospital have been so on the ball in finding it and managing my Dad's condition at the moment. I want to say a big thank you to the Christie and help fund some more research. I feel lucky to have such an amazing hospital so close that looks after Dad.
The big 'C' was already close to my heart as it has affected my direct family in a big way over the years having lost my Nanna Griffiths, Uncle Ian and Uncle Alan to it (all of them being on my Mum's side of the family).
I would really appreciate any sponsorship you can spare - every penny counts!! I am part of a team of 12 jumpers doing this event for the Christie in order to help contribute towards Stockport Homes team effort raising money for the Christie (their charity of the year).
Thanks in advance
